yea they will work in Ireland, you might need a power convertor. The PS3 will play an games from the world as they are not region locked as of yet, blue-ray you should be able to buy them in Ireland, as Europe is Region 2

Yeah, it will work fine. PS3 was designed with a built in AC converter to convert the power. For the power, the only thing you will need is either a AC adapter for the actual input, or you can buy a new PS3 power cord. All games for PS3 are region free - so even Japanese and US games will work. As for DVD's - Germany and Ireland are both Region 2, so they will work. For Blu-Ray, Ireland and Germany are both in Region B so they will also work. Regardless of that though - most BluRays are already region free too (even though the box has a region code on them) I own a couple of UK BluRays that i play on my US PS3.

It's supposed to, but you have to activate international services before you leave the U.S. You cannot active it from overseas using your phone. You'll have to call customer service from your hotel to get it activated if you wait until you get there. Yes, but you need to be aware; Standard Definition output requires your TV be NTSC compatible, High Definition will work regardless. The US power standard is 110V. Some US PS3's have a universal power supply that will work in Europe, but you can only check by opening the case of your PS3. If it isnt universal, you will need a power adaptor as well. You wont be able to play PAL DVD's at all, or protected blu-ray movies.

Depends on where the non-Eu citizen is from, but I don't see why not. If there's work available for them, that is.

Yes you can. Both people can work and live in Ireland or any other EU country. There was a big case settled in the European court of Justice in Late 2009. There will be registration process to be completed and maybe an interview if they believe it is a marriage of convenience.

You can, but it won't be easy: INIS (the Irish Naturalisation & Immigration Service) has an entire sub-division dedicated to problem of non-EU citizens marrying Irish citizens (or other EU citizens) just to to live in Ireland. Social workers get paid a lot, especially if they work on Sundays. However, it's a very popular course and jobs will always be given to Europeans first. Ireland doesn't really need Social Workers from the Americas, Australia etc. You might find it hard to get a job.

Hi The way work permits work in Ireland is that you must be hired by an employer while outside of Ireland. The employer applies for your work permit. Now it does not mean that you have to stay with that job. Your permit will be good for two years. Now you cannot go to Ireland and just look for work and apply its not allowed unless you have a work permit and the only way you will get one is like I said. It sounds like you have two questions here, working in Ireland and just working at all. To use the T-Mobile SIM card, you need to actually have a working T-Mobile account with the G1 feature on it, first of all, and then to take it and roam internationally in Ireland you also need to make sure international roaming is turned on. If it's unlocked, you should not be using the T-Mobile SIM, because unlocking is only done to allow you to use a different provider's service. So if you're trying to use it with a provider in Ireland, it's the Irish SIM you want in the phone.

It has been over 8 years since my hubby (irish) and I (american) got married, so I don't know if things have changed, and if it matters where you got married (we were married over in Ireland). But after we got married, I went to the embassy and it most just lots and lots of paper work, but it was a pretty simple process. Now on the other hand, when my husband was applying for his green card when we decided to come back to the states, it was a lot of work, paperwork, medical, interviews, over night stays etc. It was so much easier for me than it was for him. you should definetly do it. Its exactly likedoing the leving cert, but you have one extra subject: and the subject is like doing cv's and doing out a work portfolia and its a tiny bit extra study, the exam be's on in may, if you get a distinction you get 70 points, merit: 50 points and pass: 30 points, these all help with getting to your college of choice. Its completley different from lca, you have 2 classed a week, but its not taken out of exam classes, its taken from sphe, religion etc, you shoud do, it it helps you a lot in the future world of work!

SIM card is not what makes the difference if you can use your wireless phone abroad. You need to see if your carrier and their phones can use the GSM network which is what most international countries run off of, where in the US most carriers use CDMA network. Some carriers here in the US have phones that work off of both networks. Call your wireless company to find out.

The medical must be done by a 'Panel doctor' and you must get your visa and enter Australia within 12 months of the date it was done. Ireland and Germany have different visa requirements for non-EU citizens. Even if you have a permanent German Aufenthaltserlaubnis, you will need to apply for a seperate work visa for Ireland. For some occupations these are easy to get, but if you do not have a skill that is needed here it is unlikely you will get a visa. I know the presbyterian church has a whole division devoted to the mission in north Ireland. Im not sure what it is called but I doubt if they care about the fact you are catholic

if u buyed ur ps3 in the uk no beacuse uk games are PAL and usa games are NTSC so it wont work

As long as you're playing a PS3 connected to a HDTV, then it's not going to be a problem. You'll only have a problem if the TV that the PS3 is connected to isn't a HDTV, or it doesn't have a NTSC mode. Most new PAL TVs have the NTSC mode.

Hi, not too long ago I answered a question like this one. Your games will play fine on your PS3 because apparently all PS3 games are region free. You can play any game bought from any country on your PS3 as long as you're playing in Hi Def. This would require an HDTV and an HDMI cable to hook your PS3 into the TV. Then everything should be smooth sailing.

The PS3 is region free for games but not region free for Blueray. So whatever game you bought from whatever country will work with your PS3 regardless of PAL or NTSC.

In both countries there are many universities, where you can study several faculties. the job opportunities are depending from your personal qualities and education. Generally, I would say, that sweden may be the better choice, if I were you. But you aren't me!

I agree with the previous answer. I'm partial as I'm Swedish but I've been to Ireland and that's a great country too. I think job wise though you may find it easier to find work in Ireland. It obviously depends on what you wish to do. The most common part time jobs are working in bars and restaurants and Ireland have a lot more of them. If you manage to get a part time job in Sweden though, you'll probably get slightly higher wages. Sweden is a fairly expensive country but depending on where you live you can find cheaper shops and with good budgeting you should be fine. I think you'll be happy with whatever you choose. This didn't help at all, did it? =))

Doubtful. The only reason is because when you buy the new iPhone you have to activate it and buy a plan from AT&T before you leave and I doubt AT&T has good coverage in Ireland.

Are you a student or a worker? Big difference. Unless you're from EU you cannot work legally in UK without visa. Universities / colleges can supply accommodation lists but very few occupations do so.
