Can i use an irish charger to charge it or will i need a voltage converter to charge it and will european games work on it

look at the transformer. if it says 110-240v or something similar you can use it. You'd need to buy a physical adaptor for the sockets, but not a voltage adaptor. Most phone and computer chargers these days can be used in different voltage areas.
