What kind of work visa in Ireland can American part time student get if they have a job offer

What kind of work visa in Ireland can American part time student get if they have a job offer?
I am a part time student attending a university in America through a distance learning program. Ive been attending for five years. I am in Dublin legally for up to three months but I have a job offer. The immigration officer told me I had to sign up for the work travel abroad program but it looks like it is just for full time students. I really want to stay here. What are my options??

Apple TV and Boxee Box don't do tv, so they should be fine anywhere they get an interent connection. Google TV's internet stuff should work fine as well, but it won't know about local TV listings yet.
