nokia n95.. its a good 100-150 euro cheaper over there but can i buy it sim free and bring it back to ireland to use with my irish sim card??

the only way you can do that is if the N95 is unlocked, then you can use whatever sim card you have.

In UAE all the mobile phones are unlocked. The phones in UAE use a 900/ 1800 / 1900 frequency, but I believe the N95 is Quadband ( Bought mine on April 4 in UAE, before the release, but sold it). Just check the frequency in Ireland and match it with the phones frequency. Contact your local phone dealer for more information (Axiom Telecom, Cellucom, etc.)
